The STEAM (Science, Technologies, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) program is taught to all year levels and covers a broad range of topics relevant to the student’s age and abilities. STEAM education provides opportunities for learning to be delivered in an integrated manner that facilitates greater learning for students in these learning areas. The students are encouraged to apply skills such as critical and creative thinking, collaboration and communication.
The STEAM Media Art program provides the opportunity for students to create artworks, do photography, work collaboratively with a partner as a presenter /interviewer, and create animations, comics and a movie using a range of equipment including iPads, laptops, digital cameras and digital microphones. The students are encouraged to share their learning with their peers and teachers.
