Rosamond School is committed to ensuring all of our students become successful learners. We work collaboratively with all stakeholders in each child's network to develop goals that are achievable, purposeful, and challenging, and underpin an individual learning program. The learning at Rosamond is 'authentic’ - involving explicit teaching and the provision of learning opportunities that encourage students to become curious and questioning independent learners. Students understand what they are learning and why, providing a real and powerful motivator to enable them to be the best that they can be.
We provide an inclusive, safe and supportive environment for all to reach their full potential at school and beyond.
Exemplary learning delivered by outstanding and dedicated staff inspiring all to be confident, resilient and independent individuals valuing self and others.
Our values are demonstrated every day through our teaching and learning practice.
Learning at Rosamond is authentic, and our students are excited about their learning. Our Leadership, along with our staff, sets high expectations for ourselves and others. Individual Literacy and Numeracy goals strongly underpin the teaching and learning at Rosamond.
Rosamond nurtures students to grow in confidence and encourages students to be proud of who they are. All members of the Rosamond community have a voice, and our collaboration is fundamental to the outcomes we achieve. We continually foster positive relationships to understand one another better and adopt a restorative practice approach to staff and student conduct. We embrace all cultures and celebrate special events as a whole school community. Our Student Representative Council (SRC) is directly involved in representing our student body and supporting charities, as well as fundraising for valid and valuable causes.
